Pretty Pinks and a Bridge

I took this picture at Magnolia Plantation in 2020 one day during work. The flowers were perfectly in bloom at that point in time.

I really love how this photograph just looks so picture perfect.

When I look at this I see:

The harmony of nature and human involvement and the beauty they can make together.

**This photograph is unedited in that I have not cropped it at all or changed or enhanced any of the coloring.

Sun Beams

I captured this photo in a quiet field near the Ravenell Bridge during the Covid shutdown, when parks were restricted but this open space allowed people to safely gather for sunset.

It was a unique time, with people socially distanced yet united in the evening’s beauty. I’m captivated by the sun’s golden rays on the silhouetted plants—simply breathtaking!

My Charleston walks became a sanctuary during the pandemic, grounding me amid the world’s uncertainties. Living just a half-mile from the Ravenell Bridge, I feel truly blessed for this view and my peaceful havens around the city.
